Take your ceramic pratice in a new direction with “Hand Building” the practice of creating ceramic art and functional ware without the wheel! Suitable for all levels, you will be led through a dynamic range of projects and curriculum through methods like slab construction, coil building and sculpture to create functional vessles, geometric and organic forms and sculptures inspired by ancient ceramic pieces. This approach to working with clay offers limitless creations!
CLASS DATES: Jan 6, 13, 20, 27 and Feb 10. (No class on Feb 3)
You will have five lessons within a six week period, to allow us to fire your pieces.
All tools, glaze, 25 lbs of house clay and equipment provided.
Five free open studio sessions included with each class
