Printmaking and Ceramics collide with this mixed media workshop! Learn how to design and carve your own unique rubber stamps to create impressions into clay or to add repeating patters with underglaze.
In this 4 hr workshop, the first half is all about printmaking! Participants will start by learning basic block printing methods through drawing out their design/s on a rubber block and carving it using gouges.
In the second half, you test out your stamps on clay! Create some hand built vessles or flat slabs to decorate with your rubber blocks!
Open to all levels, beginner friendly!
All materials and tools provided. Includes glaze and fireing.
Youth 14+ may register with adult regristrant.
